About
Jayul Design Lab is a research laboratory based at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology in Seoul, South Korea. We combine design research and practice under the motto 'Think + Make + Act'. Led by Professor Sang-kyu Kim, our team is primarily composed of graduate students and is dedicated to exploring publicity, ecological transition and theoretical discourse within the field of design. Through our research workshops and exhibitions, we aim to challenge the boundaries of design and its impact on society and the environment.
자율디자인랩은 서울과학기술대학교 산업디자인학과에 속한 연구실로, ‘생각하기, 만들기, 행동하기(Think + Make + Act)’라는 키워드를 바탕으로 디자인연구와 실천을 병행하고 있다. 김상규 교수와 대학원생을 중심으로 하는 구성원들은 생태전환 디자인, 공공성, 사물, 동시대 디자인 담론에 관심을 갖고 연구, 워크숍, 전시, 출판 등 다각적인 활동을 펼치고 있다.
